Introduction:
Dr. Bizzell earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1992 from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He then completed General Practice residencies at the University of Louisville Hospital and the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Bizzell served as a general dentistry officer in the United States Public Health Service for four years, earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During this period he also served as an attending dentist at the NY Manhattan VA Medical Center. From 1999-2002 he studied periodontics and implant dentistry at the NY Manhattan VA Medical Center and earned his specialty certificate in July 2002.
Dr. Bizzell is an active member of the New York County Dental Society, serving on the public relations committee. He is also a member of the New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists.

Dr. Bizzell serves as a reserve officer in the US Public Health Service.

Joseph Dubin, D.D.S.
Dr. Dubin entered dentistry as a second career. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, from which he graduated in 1997, Dr. Dubin worked in the television industry for 5 years. Even though working in the media was exciting, he was not fulfilled and wanted to work with and help people. His father, Brian, an orthodontist, inspired him to change careers. After some additional coursework at Hunter College in New York, Dr. Dubin entered Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2004. Upon receiving his DDS in 2008, he was awarded the New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award by the entire faculty. Following graduation, he immediately entered New York University College of Dentistry’s Orthodontic Program from where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Dubin was the Chief Resident in his senior year at NYU, was awarded the Invisalign leadership award and presented his research in Osteogenesis at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in 2010. He is trained in the most advanced techniques used in Orthodontics today including temporary anchorage devices, soft tissue laser (Academy of Laser Dentistry certified), lingual orthodontics, self-ligation, Invisalign and advanced digital imaging. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and is eligible to become a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Dubin is married and met his wife at summer camp when they were teenagers. They live in New York City with their 16 month old son. Dr. Dubin is a passionate sports fan (Mets, Giants, Knicks, Rangers and Michigan Wolverines) and enjoys skiing, golf, tennis and basketball.
